I love the ridgid line of cordless drills, bought mine when they were introuced 2-3 years ago, when they offered free lifetime replacement, even on the wear items like the batteries, brushes etc.
I have used up a number of cordless drills and I have ended up with Makitas. I have four of them now, different types. Light weight for the power output and very durable, haven't used one up yet.
Prefer the Milwaukee or Makita, but have to admit the Harbor freight 18V at 19.99 is a pretty good buy. About 31.50 with tax and extra battery. Comes with charger. The batteries are rather slow recharging, so the 2nd battery is a must, and the drill is only single speed. That said, I'v used it quite a bit demo'ing a 5th wheel, and was suprised at the torque, and battery life was almost all day on one battery. Granted, it's intermittent use, but there are a lot of square drive screws in a travel trailer, and I've pulled a box full already. I bought the drill because it was cheap, figuring if it burned up I'd just chuck it and not be out much. Looks like it will be around for a while.
