I am assuming. Had a friend tell me about this. He said to paint it on with a brush. Supposedly will stop rust and harden into a primer. Color will be black when hardened. After this is done, sand til' smooth.

you cant beat good ol POR 15 goolgle them and open an account... a little plastic ans dropped shipped to your door.

I do not recommend anything else.. I have used Master Products and find it inferior to POR...

Just remember its not UV stable and will chalk if not top coated.

best thing since sliced white bread.

sprayed my frame with por15 and am very happy. though i would reccomend painting it on. I used an airless sprayer and despite my cleanup efforts my sprayer has not been the same since. Two other notes whatever it gets on it wont come off (wear gloves and long sleeved shirt), and dont skimp on the prep process. Follow their directions and youll be happy.

A little goes a long way. I suggest you prepare a bunch of stuff to paint, because once you put the top back on the can, it might be on there for good...

I bought my first can of POR15 at Vintage Ford and the salesman told me to put a couple of layers of cellophane on the top of the can before you seal the lid and it will open the next time. It works like a champ. I opened and closed the first can many times and never had a problem with it.

But het brush it on and it looks like it was sprayed.

I appreciate everyones comments. Would you recommend using the cleaner provided by them also or using your own home remedy? Again, thank you so much.

So very true. I told my wife that I was going to start reading the instructions first, not after I'm finished.

If you sandblast your frame, make sure you get it REALLY clean in the hidden corners before you paint it with POR 15

Don't ask me why I know this
