I need to re-do sons brakes on his truck...are the front brakes just like any others? Take off wheel, compress the caliper, remove pads replace (turn rotors) pads and go...

Replacing the brake pads is easy, and it's just like any other, but taking off the rotor is a bit more complicated than usual because of the locking hubs.

No, you don't need to do anything with the rotor if you just wan to replace the pads.

However, it's a good idea to inspect them, and do something if you see some major problems. I usually have them turned or replaced at every 2nd or 3rd set of pads.

Yeah I understand... I loked at Chilton and they show knocking out a pin a stuff..seems like a pain in the behand. So all I need to is remove the calipers and replace the pads no pressure to bleed or anything weird sense it's a 4 wheel drive
