no, we dont really have a active chapter, as far as i know. we have been farting around about having a meeting and whatnot, but nothing ever gets taken care of. if you would like to have a little get together/meet and greet, then you could try to get something together. i would help you out with some of the stuff. If you really want to get active in a group, either try local clubs, or look into the chapters in SC, VA, Tenn, etc, to see what they are up too. if only we could have something big, and have meets, it would be awesome.

is there any place between here and ashboro that we could get a meeting at? im not too familiar with that area, but if we could find a place that would interest a large group of people to go to, then we could pbly get a nice group together. maybe at one of the autoshows at the racetrack or somewhere like that, just for example.

You may want to get a hold of ArtJ66, he was (or still might be) the voted in President of the NC chapter. We tried on line meetings and personal meetings, but we really could'nt get it together.

We've tried a few times for meetings to try and get this chapter off the ground. The first actual meeting we had was in May and we had 4 people show up. Then we tried a few online meetings (no luck). Finally, we tried a meeting during the Collector Car Fest at the State Fairgrounds which produced 2 people.
If anybody is willing to get this thing going, then I'm more than willing to help out. I'll have to take a smaller role this time around, as my wife and I have a baby on the way.

where in the foothills do you reside?

I was kinda thinking of maybe have a mini meeting at one of the car-shows that they have up at the speedway, or somewhere else. that would be something everybody would possibly be interested in, and might would be a good source of info too. i would be willing to drive a little bit to attend a meeting if a date is confirmed.

I Live in Morganton,NC. I know bakersville is near the Tenn State line.Western NC is more spread apart than alot of people realize.I guess the hard part would be a central location to meet.We have a Ford car show at our local Ford dealer here every year at Martin-Fagan Ford in Morganton in May. There's alot of Ford Trucks here in Western NC.I can Just about say that very few know about FTE,I only found it by accident. So I would sasy to get one going here in our part of NC wouldn't be hard it would just time.Maybe Bumper stickers with FTE website or a NC chapter printed on them would Help.

I had talked to a few people about the shirts, bumper stickers, etc. If there are any items with the FTE name or logo, they would need to be approved by Ken and we could not sell them for profit...only to provide funding for the chapter.

That would be great for the Chapter. The funding would help the chapter grow and as for NC would it be all under one Chapter with regional chapters?
How would it all work?
