any kind of automotive-oriented place is cool with me. something like a Quaker-steak joint, or something like that would be cool. or if someone has a houe and would be willing to have a bunch of strangers milling around would be much appreciated.

Ah, we wouldnt do anything to annoy them. just have a burnout contest, and do decibel readings and see who had the loudest exhaust-strait piped, of course.

LOL that would drive my neighbors crazy. Maybe we could meet at a State Park or City Park somewhere and have a big cookout.Everyone bring something if we know how many will show up and have our Greet and Meet so to speak.

Exclamation

yeah we could do that state park thing this summer i think, it takes a lot of work to plan a cook out i know from past events i have had, but i could load up the old gas grill and we could cook hot dogs etc, and i can check with the fire dept and people that own the old wal mart, just a thought?? ummm, of course where i was talking about meeting there is the local park just one exit up LOL, but this is what i think we should do is have a meeting where i had mention, get the info on the chapter, get the list of members that want to do this, sit at a table in a resturant talk about logos, and talk about the future of the club. work out all the details on our first meet and go from there then we can plan more fun outdoor ativities for everyone to enjoy, like in salisbury there is dan nickcals state park they have rides and alot of fun stuff to do for kids and adults, which would be great fun for all of the family. but first i feel we need to work out all the details of our planned group to be national.

NCfirefighter has the best idea, to plan a first meeting where we just plan out what we are going to do and how we are going to do it. the park idea would be great later on, in warmer weather. but any kind of restaurant or something for hte first meet would be great.

Sorry I haven't been on in the last day or two , been pretty busy. Looks like we're getting closer every day.Sounds like you guys have come up with some good ideas.Whenever you all want to arrange a meeting is OK with me . I'm out of work right now because of a back injury,so,I'm fairly flexible(except for my back lol)I can probably manage to hoist a knife and fork, and I never have trouble talking(truck drivers are like that) So give me a time and place and its a done deal...
