taking the muffler off

i have true dual exhaust on my 87 f150 5.0 and it sounds pretty good(loud) now, it might be because one of the outlet tubes has fallen off. but what do you guys think it would sound like if i took off both of the mufflers? also, i dont have cats.

Leave 'em on, so you can drive without fearing the cops. Get a louder muffler if thats what you want, flowmaster http://www.flowmastermufflers.com has some good deep sounding mufflers that are engineered to keep high flow in the system.
