Check this starter out on ebay, auction # 8030025216. Kinda curious as to why you are having to replace the starter for the third time. I have 162,000 with the original starter.

Jeg's (www.jegs.com) sells Powermaster high torque starter (PN: 713-9051) for our trucks...approximately $240. The question still stands though: Why so many starters burning up?
I had to put one on mine two years ago, and recently had to replace it again! (2001) The original one I put on was from ford, but this time, they were out of stock, so I ended up getting one from International. It was about 3 inches shorter! Starts quicker than the ford one, as well. It was also about 50 dollars cheaper.....
Mine was a 3 bolt, and the International part number is ZLN35261020S
Also I have had very good results with Bosch rebuilt units. They are not cheap, but I never have any trouble with them either.
Bosch part number:
SR 7582 X
Or a reduction gear drive which is brand new.
SR 7529 N. Expect to pay around $300.00 for that one. Dealer list according to World Pac is $698.56
