Power Window Troubles

I bought a '54 F-100 with a fair amount of custom work done to it, including power windows. Now the driver window mechanism doesn't work and I don't know what brand it is or how to fix it. I have pictures if someone thinks they might be able to help. It is a power unit with a vertical tube, inside of which is a flexible metal "spring" or spiral "rod" that I will call the "traveler". This piece moves up or down through the vertical tube to raise or lower the window. This traveler has come out of the fixed tube I don't know if the unit is still functional. Any opinions? ~ Lou

Without knowing the brand makes it tough.
The only idea I can think of is to look in parts and accessorie catalogs to find out.
If that works then you should be able to get repair info and parts if needed. Posting a picture should help, someone may have the same.
