Ok....I know that this topic has been beaten to death and back....but I haven't been able to find the answer to my question as of yet. So could someone please offer me some info. ?
Will all of these part numbers and brands of hubs fit my truck?
Warn - 38826
Superwinch - 400439
MileMarker - 449SS
I have a 2004 Ford F-250 SD CC Fx4 6.0 PSD with Auto/Manual hubs and turn-**** 4x4 system.
Some sites say yes some no....O'reilly Auto Parts says yes....who is right?
Also, in your opinion which is best? I read that the MM are all metal and rated higher than both the Warn and Superwinch. They are also cheaper than the Warn.

The MileMarkers fit. 20 minute install job and the quality is top notch.

Opinion is the key word here. Everyone has one (an opinion) and that's why these forum's database gets huge. My opinion was to go with the MileMarkers after considering those and the Warn Premiums. Do a search in Google with a target of "Milemarker Warn hub" and one of the top hits will be an article that compares the two. My only disagreement with the review was the ease of turning the MileMarkers. The article says it is difficult; in reality it's so easy a two year old could do it. In the end I placed a higher priority on strength (ductile iron) and corrosion resistance (full stainless body) of the Milemarker as opposed to the lighter weight (aluminum construction of the Warn) and the extra seal on the dial of the Warn. It's a truck, not a submarine. The MileMarker's cheaper price didn't hurt either. Keep in mind this is my opinion and part of the process I went through in making my decision. I'm a research freak, wary of the herd mentality, because a lot of times the herd goes over a cliff.
i used the milemarkers on my 99 superduty and was disapointed. i read the the same review and went with then because of it. it installed them and went to moab with 34 inch tires worked great, hard to disengage, easy to turn. after about 3000 miles on them they both were loose on the hub, tried to toghten the screws(no luck). have warns now easier to disengage and 2 grand so far with off roading and no problems. tellico 4x4 had the mm hubs for the cheapest i found. the warns were bought at aut pasrt store for 186.
Can anyone else tell me if they have had any problems with the MileMarker Hubs? Is the $avings worth going with the MileMarker or should I stick with the tried and true Warn? I like the construction of the MM and the fact that 1/4 of the price isn't due to advertising.
