Anybody running the bcd 18k module, along with the package gear they have. Looks like a really nice setup, well designed, etc. Im curious to the results any of you have had with this setup. I have an edge attitude/evolution right now, and was wondering how it may interact with that also. Thanks.

 

Generally a resistor mod works fairly well augmenting a chip or programmer, but you will not see anywhere near the "advertised" power of the mod since it's effects overlap those of the chip or programmer.

There are cases with the more "extreme" programs that show the resistor to make less power than without it, but it should work fine in conjunction with your tuner.

 

i just installed one today and i really like the extra power. it works good with my hypermax max 330 chip and it smokes a lot more when its turned all the way up

 

Justin, this interests me. where did you get your resistor from? i like the idea of having the extra smoke to show off for plumeing, not really interested in the extra power. how much was it?

 

well i got it from a buddy of mine. it is made by sp diesel performance. i dont know where he got it though. im guessing it is the same thing as the black cloud steroid module. it was easy to install just plug it into the icp . it is adjustable with a dial that looks like a switch from a chip. my truck diddnt smoke at all before i put it in and now she smokes pretty good. with it turned all the way down it is the same as without it but if i turn it up it really gets up and goes. if you want i can find out where he got it from
