Clutch engages too high

I just had a new clutch put in by my local Ford dealer. When i drove it home, i noticed the clutch engaged almost halfway up from the floorboard When my truck was new, the clutch had more tension and engaged closer to the floorboard. The bill said they replaced the slave assembly and clutch assembly.I don't think it should release that far up.I'm concerned the clutch will burn out too soon.I know the clutch can't be adjusted because it is hydraulic. What can they do at this point to fix it other than re-do the job? How about bleeding the system? I wasn't planning on having them put in a clutch, but it was there to replace seals that were leaking. They called me to say the clutch was bad. Figured i might as well do that since they already had the engine suspended.

Does it grind shifting into reverse? If it does then the clutch isnt done properly, if it doesnt, then try rebleeding and make sure that everything is set up properly.
