Adjusting a hydraulic clutch??

So I just had my entire clutch replaced while another repair was taking place. What I've noticed is the "clutch engagement" has changed. Where as I would have the clutch start to engage/disengage at the 1/2 way point on the pedal travel is now the last 1/4 of the pedal. Is this a "normal reaction to a new clutch that just takes getting used to or is there an adjustment I can fine turn it with?
Do I just have to wait for it to "break in"?
When I replaced the clutch on my dearly departed 94 ranger, I replaced the bearings & disc only reusing the pressure plate and did not have this issue.

Thanks as always
Steve

It may still have air in the system, there are no adjustments, other than making the rod from the petal to the master a little longer. And they may have put a pressure plate in that didn't have as long of fingers as your old one.

Thanks f5fordgirl, I was thinking there might some air there too. I was looking at the old throw out bearing, when did it so damned complicated?? I miss the old days when a bearing was just a bearing n not a hydraulic assembly.

Gotta task a frind to come pump my pedal I guess.

For me it was less hassle to take the master and line out than try to bleed it on the car. The lines just plastic so tie one the master and reservoir to one end of a 2x4 and the fitting to the other (vertically) Then tap on the line lightly to bring the air up... There's a good "how to" video on youtube...
