Power Steering Pump

Hi guys,
I will need to replace the steering pump on my 1998 F-150. How hard is it to replace? I just replace my serpitine belt two weeks ago. So I know its definetly the pump. Thanks in advance

You'll need a special tool to remove the pully. They have it at Advance for 10 or 12 bucks I think, maybe less.

I was able to get the new pump and the tool. Thanks for letting me know. but the tool cost me $82.00, that sucks. I suppose if I ever need to use one again at least I'll have it

$82?.. Jeze everythings high. I could have sworn I saw it at advance for $10 bucks. Guess it's time to start locking my tool box.

This was the only kit they had, so I had to buy it. It has a couple of different sizes. Maybe the one you saw was just for one size. Thanks to you I knew enough to ask for one before hand, I would have been pissed it I was into it and then realized I needed one so thanks
