Check in at least once a day, prety much for all the reasons listed above. I usually don't have time to post, unless it's something I really care about or know about. This site has saved me so much dinero on more than just my truck, I try to chime in when I feel I can payback to someone.
I'm here once or more each day.
I like the Email ticklers to remind me to look.
I especially like the informative answers and even when you get a few guys arguing, the opinions are always informative.
A site full of Gentlemen!
I dunno.... over 7,000 posts in two years. Is there a 7-step program for this? I think I've got a daughter roaming around here somewhere too- couldn't tell you where at the moment though.
Never mind- found her in the chat room.
In the Nwst Chapter, we get together fairly often. Made some new friends, had some good times... look forward to more. Next generation seems to be pretty enthusiastic about it too.
I've seen a lot of forums develop and die out over time on the web.
I have watched online communities evolve...
THEY ARE MADE OUT OF PEOPLE!
Not just a paraphrase from the old movie series "Planet of the Apes", but an honest observation. YOU AND I sit down at our computers, and MAKE Club Ford Truck Enthusiasts just what it is.
Are you sure you are not thinking of Soylent Green?
I read a lot on FTE and I post when I have something relevant to say(or irrelevant) and I try to post interesting questions if I can't find an answer by searching previous posts.
So am I the typical FTE user? I post when I have something to say but I use the search to find what I need. I feel guilty using the search sometimes because I am not contributing to the forums but I'm encouraged to use the search but I feel guilty for not participating and helping to "grow" the site, but do I need to now? The FTE tree seems to be pretty much full grown while it's branches grow fuller with more information contributed by it's members...
Am I regular? I say yes. Am I an FTE regular? I say yes!
I have been here little over a year and I am an FTEoholic, 3+ times a day. I like the comradery of everyone and helpfulness of the info. I was looking for info for the tranny in my truck and just got hooked.
I'm here alot more than I probably should be, but I like being able to read intelligent people interacting without constantly arguing, and the subject matter is about the best trucks in the world.
I have two site that I frequent, this one and a horseshoeing forum. I spend all of my spare time at theses two sites. Since I found these two sites I have quit watching tv, it has been probably 6 months since I watched tv and I feel smarter because of it. And people that I am around alot have noticed that I now have a larger vocabulary, but I'm still not the best speller.
