My poor baby
Finally got my 79 all together and running nicely. Transferred plates & insurance and all that good stuff, go on test drives, trucks runs beautiful, even without ever matting the gas, lots of power, lovely exhaust sound etc...
Go for trip on weekend, only 400 km on engine and a rod bearing lets go two hours from home. Man what a drag. Going to pull the engine out tonight (or tomorrow night after catching up on sleep) to assess the situation and decide whether to rush and get truck going again or fix it over winter and turn my attention to getting one of the Bronco's ready for winter....

And sometimes it eats you twice. In less than 48 hours I've gone from two running vehicles to zero running vehicles....
Wonder what I can break today....Maybe I should take the boss's truck for a spin....
