engine conversion
I have a 78 f250 with a 400. I was thinkin about changing the engine to a 390. I have an extra set of heads for the 400 I was wondering if anybody knows if the heads will go on the 390 , Don't ask me why I don't like the 400 it's just that I had a 390 that I drove for a bunch of miles . also do the exhaust manifolds bolt up? Is there any other problems that I don't forsee like motor mounts?

The 390 and the 400 belong to totaly different engine families. Meaning about all that is interchangable between them is the oil 
The tranny attached to the 400 wont even bolt up to the 390.
