Fiberglass Truck Beds - Available? Any good?
This sounds bad. Fiberglass does not have the characteristics to resist punctures or sheer. It would be lighter, and on the older trucks, lighter is better. I've seen fiberglass noses for Chevy Trucks and if you don't mind the shaking and shimmying, there O.K., I guess. All the metal is available for bed restoration and a bed liner made of high density polyethlene could hide a lot of sin. Fiberglass will not hold up to the bouncing of the road, especially if its loaded. If your looking for a drag racing body you may have something, other than that, I think you'll be wasting your money.

IMHO Forget about it! I believe you would be totally limited to show or drag race applications. I wouldn't even think about hauling anything.

I dont know go to usbody.com i think they are built very stong. I think the only downfall to them is the price. Its 2499 for one the only place i see for one is if you were drag racing showing of just had lots of money to blow
