I was wondering if anyone could hlep me on this,, I have an 87 F150 4x4 efi, The motor went and craped out on me, but i need to get back on the road, i am planning on rebuilding it later, but for now I am going to buy a salvaged motor, ALRIGHT,,Here's the question, the only motor i can find is a 94 4.9 unknown miles? I know it will bolt up, but am curious about the computer and other electrical parts and also the vacum lines etc,,
the '94 should be a speed density control like your '87 - so there shouldn't be any problem; however, there will most likely be some small stuff to deal with.
That Would Be Nice 'but' I Would Be Buying Just The Motor From A Salvage Yard, So I Would Be Just Buying The Motor. I Wonder If That Could Be Bypassed?
