Trucks Value

What is the best way to determine a trucks value for selling? I have a 2004 F350 CC LB 6.0L Lariat, all the options available. The only addition to this stock truck is I have it lifted 4". There isn't anything wrong with this truck, I just have wanted a yellow truck for the past 6 years, and of the last three trucks I have purchased, the next year they offer it in yellow. Thanks.

Bryan

Depends on YOUR area. Around here (Mid-Michigan) V-10's and 7.3L PSD's are considered most desireable and are snapped up quick and for decent money. 5.4L and 6.0L PSD's sit longer and bring less. 5.4L are normally XL's, once in a while an XLT but not very loaded. The 6.0L PSD sell slower becuase of the engines "issues".

For starters, look at www.edmunds.com and put in your specs.
Not saying that is what you'll get, might be more or less, just a starter.

Kelly Blue book or Edmunds.com. The latter has some provisions for regional areas, as it pertains to value, that KBB doesn't

NADA is the book of the south, all banks and car dealers use it.

Just for the He** of it, I checked KBB and NADA used prices on my truck - interesting to say the least:

KBB: TRADE IN VALUE $23,975
SUG RETAIL $30,680

NADA: AVG TRADEIN $24,625
AVG RETAIL $28,300

Not bad for a vehicle I paid $25,700 for.......

Humm, those 2007's with the V10...............

Well ironically enough mine is a 6.0 with not one problem to date so far. Sounds like the Nada, Kbb and Edmunds are places to start. Thank you all.
