Rear axel code C1 limited slip???

Rear axel code C1 limited slip???
I read somewhere that C1 is a 3.73 limited slip rear in the X if this is true does anyone know if the carrier is rebuildable or do I have to get a new one. If the C1 is indeed a limited slip mines clapped out. Anyone have an exploded view of the stock limited slip diff?

C1 is indeed a Limited Slip.
try to go to www.fordpartsonline.com they have exploded views that you can look at.
I'm quite sure the carrier is rebuildable.

I called Ford in town and they list 2 different clutch kits for the limited slip? One is a 3 pinion and the other is a 2 pinion?
The link you sent just has one kit for alot less then the dealer just wonder if its the two or three pinion. I am prolly going to have to pull the cover to find out

If you have a diesel, it's a 3-pinion. Gas = 2-pinion.
