Np-435 to transfercase

Im putting in a replacement np-435 into my f-150. What i need to know is if i really need to buy the gasket that goes between the adapter and transfer case it self or if i can just get away with some rtv sealant. If so does anyone know of anywhere off hand to find the gasket.

i'd just slap in some rtv coppor seal silicone and call it gravy... no pressure is there, just gear oil being sloshed around and slung by the shafts..
