By the way my truck has a V8, 400 6.6L engine, Thanks for reading this message and keep on trucking.
Try ebay. I bought a brand new 4160 Holley for my truck on ebay. Works great and got a good deal, even with the added costs of shipping and customs. Just search for a while be patient, and check feedback. There is always something on ebay. You could also try jegs or one of the many other online auto part stores if you know what carb you want.
You can look up parts on any of the parts store web sites you just mentioned.
EDIT:
Autozone in Laredo has your carb.

Dennis,
I have the same truck and need a carb. I don't feel qualified to rebuild so I'm looking for a new one. I checked Autozone's website and can only order online because the store doesn't carry them. There are 2 numbers for the Holley and the Champion isn't available. The numbers for the Holley are 64-6078 and 64-6079. What is the difference? There is a Holley on it now , 64-6078. The truck sat for a long time and is running very rich. Spark plugs and inside of the air cleaner lid is black. Thanks. Matt
Dennis,
Thanks for the quick reply. I checked the website out and there are 2 different carbs, climatic and electric choke. I have Advance Auto, Auto Zone, NAPA. I checked their websites and it lists carb kits and parts but no complete carbs. On a side note, Your signature line says you're north of the 49th.... Way to cold for me.. We're having the warmest Jan. I can remember and not complaining. Thanks again. Matt
