Spark plug gap question
For points ignition, run .035 gap. For electronic, I think the sticker that's on your valve cover calls for .045. I put the Duraspark system on my '70 and still run .035.

Spark plug gap question
Okay thanks alot I dont have any stickers whatsoever on my truck it was pretty much restored a few years back and therefore repainted all over my engine*blue* It has electronic ignition so Ill go for what you said . I seem to be getting crappy gas mileage with this truck lately but i remember i havent changed out the plugs or rotor or cap in a few years so i thought that might help if not ill check my fuel filter. TIA

i have mine set at 45. thats what my previous fords have been. must be a ford thing set at .045

Spark plug gap question
I think .045 is correct, and you're right-those stickers disappear pretty quickly on older motors.
