I found a truck in the paper for $750 a 73 250 with a 360 or 390 dana axles 410 gears clutch is out. My brother said that he may not know what he is talking about because he said it was a 363 390. havent talked to him yet because it is a bit of a drive and wanted your guys oppinion because you know best

Shawn, your brother missed it this time. Most likely the engine is a 360, a 390 could have been ordered, and the 390 is a more powerful engine. You can't tell by looking at the outside, so sellers tend to say it could be a 390.
The Ford Edsel engines installed factory installed were the 352, 360, 390. By 73 the 360 had replaced the 352.
Since 73 many engine could have been changed into the truck. The 410 is a very short gear for a V8. That thing would pull over the WTC. :-)
