If by "come off when up to speed" you mean lift up, then yes, in a way. The fuel tank is in the front so as the fuel was spent the front end got light, thus making steering a little difficult!

heard a rumor that some engineers goofing around put a V12 lambo engine into a Viper to see what it would do, ended up twisting the frame/car.
