96 Explorer Programmer?

96 Explorer Programmer?
I have a 96 Explorer 4.0l and I am looking for a little more power to tow with, I picked up a used power programmer III but apparently the original truck wasn't returned to stock so I am screwed, what would be the best programmer or chip to use? Thanks for any and all info.

I found a Hypertech 41037 for your truck and a Jet Chips 89603. That was all I can locate for your trusty steed. I cant find where anyone tells what kinds of gains are found with one or the other, so at this point your shooting in the dark, or waiting for someone that has had these on there Explorer to come by and say that they are good/bad/otherwise.

Much better... custom tuned to your specs, you can modify the tuning parameters, does data logging, interfaces with your PC via a USB cable, download updateses from the web, etc.
