Problem - Battery Drain

Fellows, Thanks for the replies and advice. In about 2 weeks I am taking it in for the recall (pad removal underneath bed) work and oil and filter. While I am at the garage I am going to try and get them to replace my battery and check my alternator. I will let you guys know what I find out. I am also going to ask what exactly causes the battery drain on these new ones. Another thing I am wonderng is if it might be better to disconnect the battery when it will be sitting a week or more. I'll let you know what I find out. Thanks again for your help!
