I read somewhere on this forum that there is a way to get info from your mile and trip display cannt fine the info. any help?

It only gives you info. for gauges. To get it hold down trip reset while turning on the ignition.

But only instrument cluster trouble codes. It will not display PCM trouble codes.

I tried this on my 04 5.4l today, and found some differences than the above listed post showed. Battery voltage shows the actual voltage and not in a code format. TF I'm thinking shows trans temp. Watching trans temp reveals some interesting findings, starting from cold the gage follows the digital reading pretty well but after you get to about 75 the gage stops. The digital got up to 94-95 and gage never moves past the 75 mark.

For guy's like me that snow plow, this info might be useful to use instead of having to install an additional gage.
