open element air filter like the tymar intake you can hear it more. a 1.0ar exuast housing will make the turbo spool faster which will sound better. the downpipe is from the turbo down to the rest of the exaust. a full flow muffler and kitty killing will let it whistle more. a tonywildman chip on the hotter programs will really help it sing.

The wastage bleeds off drive pressure to control turbo boost, your 95 wont have one.

My truck lost it's cat and muffler but still has the stock intake. With a 3" downpipe and a 4" straight pipe out the turbo is LOUD! It makes the most wonderful racket anytime the engine is under load, even light acceleration.

I get 14-16 MPG without towing a load. But then I have 4.10 gears in it.

A sawzall or a torch is a must to get the old downpipe out. Yeah, I used both. What?!? I had a fire extinguisher handy!!!

I get 17.6mpg daily driving and 19+ on the highway ..... 3:55's got to love them .. .lol.

Mine lost the kitty over christmas break and also made my own intake from exhause pipe 33 deg elbow and a large K&N filter .... mileage jumped up by 1.5 mpg with these two mods on my truck and that's with me hossing on it cuz I like the whistle .. lol

Has anybody just chopped the Cat off and leave it like that. just choped right before the cat??

what does it sound like? i know my buddy had a 1994 Ford f-250 and it was loud but it was a crappy loud. if i did that would mine sound like crap? would it sound better if i chopped it off and then welded sum muffler pipe on there?{like 4 foot?}
Give me some input. i want this baby to sound nice. but i dont want to jigger rig it either. whats the most effective way and the cheapest to get that baby to purrrrrrrrrr.
thanks for all and any help
Mitch
