I have found some Hooker Super Comp headers that will fit my truck! Jegs lists a few new additions that include the 73-77 or 73-79 F-150 with a 460. Should I buy these headers? $289 is a good price for good headers isn't it?

Matt, if you want more noise and heat in your cab, then go for them. I have them on my 352 and it took me about 8-9 hours to change a starter out recently. That should have been a 35-40 min. job. NO more long tubes for me, on a daily driver. Shorties are the only thing that I would even consider if I ever got weak enough to consider headers again.

In the cool still quiet of night you can hear chevies rusting away.
I run them on my 429. Good quality and the best mounting flanges of any headers ive used. The only problem i had was a bit of interferiance with the Trans cross member, but that could be due to my making my own towers and mounts instead of using the kits.
I didnt notice any differance in the heat and only a little more tinny sount in the headers than with the manifolds. They also worked better with the dove heads i put on.
