Power for Radar Detector
All,
I'm looking for a 12V power source for a Valentine 1 radar detector. Preferred mounting is on the windshield, just under the rearview mirror. I have an auto-dimming mirror, but this is an early-build F150, prior to the included wiring harness for the DVD player. The auto-dimming mirror has three wires going into it, does anybody have a diagram for this? I think that would be the best bet for power... any suggestions apprciated.

PS If possible, I'd like to avoid routing wires around the whole windshield, which is why I am looking to use the mirror.

here ya go... this applies to an '05
White/light-blue = power
black = ground
black/pink = reverse
It's fused for 10A so you should be good.
Got me curious--Never knew something was supposed happen when reversing. I'll check later tonight when it's dark.
