Hesitation in Engine
Hello, I have a 2000 V-10 with 91,000 miles on it. After accelerating, when I take my foot of of the pedal and begin to apply gas gently, the engine hesitates and has a slight "jerk" to it. I changed the IAT about 2,500 miles ago and it went away for a bit. Now it is back. Any ideas? Does a bad IAT send fault codes I can get a reader and find?

Never heard of a bad IAC throwing ANY codes...
I'd suspect more like a clogged fuel filter than anything else.
If the IAC is bad, you having idling problems more than anything, not stumbling/hesistation at speed, but what do I know?
Was it a new IAC?

Both of my 2000 V10s do the same thing, when you coast for a short time the torque converter unlocks and the and when you step on the gas the motor will rev up a little before it locks back up again, it feels like a hesitation but its not. I have driven some newer V10s and they don't seem to do it so it mite be just the earlier trucks that do it. You may also notice that when you let off the gas and coast the converter locks back up in a lower gear to help slow down.
