Its been about 2-3 months with a rattle in the front end. ive checked ball joints and tie rods. It seems that there is slack where the front Inner CV joint meets the axle. The Axle will move up and down when you push on it.
what kind of rattle....is it more of a klunk or just a rattle where it could possibly be somethgin that is just hitting somethign else or does it feel like it travels through the frame into the cab?
What about your sway bar links? I had mine in the shop and they couldn't find anything, I took it over to the neighbor, we took the tire off and then you could see that part of the bolt was missing. The bushings and spacer were still there so you couldn't tell it was broken unless you were really looking for it.
yea, for sure cause their is so much under it that could make a noise.....look around and see what you find....my guess is that you'll find something in sway bar or cv joint or somethign like that
I was thinking the CV joint but it doesnt make the cliking on turning like a bad CV joint would. Are there any other signs that a CV joint would be bad.
