Question Which Exhaust System??

Hey guys I was wondering if you give me some advice on buying an exhaust system for my 2002 Ford F-250 Powerstroke with 6 speed man. trns. I have looked real hard and want the best sound and performance for my dollar. I looked at MBRP(I like the "COOL DUALS") and Banks and even Magnaflow and Motoblue. What is you opinion? Do you guys have any sound clips I can listen to, or any pics with them installed? I really appreciate it. I have my guages and chip all ready and waiting for the exhaust system I just don't know which to system to buy and the best place to get it.

Thanks,
Mitch

fei1,

If you want a nice deep tone, the MBRP will get you the best overall sound. They are availabel in aluminized, 409 and 304 stainless and in singles and duals. Give us a call if you want and we'll be glad to help you with any questions you might have.

If you want to hear some sounds listen to Kwikordead's. He's got a 5" system on his 99 F550, it sounds way cool.

What's the most important things about the exhaust your looking for? Longevity?
Sound? Dyno results? Looks cool? Price? EGT reduction? No annoying mid-range drone?

I ended up going ahead with the MBRP single T-304 stainless exhaust. I hope I like it. I did order ir from Diesel Performance Parts. The only reason I didn't go for the duals was the ridiculuous $400 price jump for two more pieces and a tip. I will keep you guys posted on my install and performance.

I also opted for the MBRP. I got a smoking deal on EBAY for it and it came in today. It is getting installed tomorrow. I will let you know how I like it. I got the stainless model.

I just ordered the exact same T-409 system from Diesel Performance Parts and with their price guarantee, got it for the same price including shipping as the guy from eBay but this is from a FTE sponser!

fei1, SueEmAll, guzzle92,

WE GREATLY appreciate your support, this site is great but the advertising is pretty high so your support keeps us paying which keeps this site free for all to use. So it's a win win for everybody!!

We do have sound clips on our site too for most of the MBRP systems, so if you need to listen just check it out. Check out our price GUARANTEE too, you'll be surprised at what we can do for you.

In my short time on here I have gotten much valuable information from this site and have come to depend on it for any decision associated with my truck. I would always make the effort to patronize a sponsor and evaluate more than just price when determining what the "best deal" is. In fact, I have made several online purchases from sponsors in just the past month. Having said that, I looked at the various sponsor websites before making my selection on the exhaust but ultimately bought from Ebay because I am an impulse buyer and I was unable to complete my transaction with a sponsor and take advantage of the price match without getting someone on the phone. I was surfing the net and shopping well after midnight and hit the "buy it now" button. Also, for whatever it is worth, I appreciate price matching policies, but there is something to be said for the guy who just has the lowest price earning the sale for having the lowest price.
