add a leaf

hey everyone,
Sometime soon I will be looking to put bigger tires on my 1997 f350 4x4. I am looking to get 35's. I know I will need a few more inches and was looking into add a leafs. Does anyone here use them? If so how do you like them? can more than one extra leaf be added and what other changes will need to be made in order for the extra springs to work? (steering , brake lines, etc)

does anyone have add a leaf kits on their pre 05 truck??

Most of the pre 98' - 350's will take a 35'' tire with a 2.5-3'' add-a-leaf in the front,(depending on how much the front is sagging).Anything 4-6'' I would get a "drop" pitman arm.
