Just to add to my old post. Another thing I noticed, I noticed alot of che^y people defending their trucks but not many Ford people defending ours. I guess because we don't have to, they know we are inferior. ;-)

You are right.The reason is the chevy guys have all the backup they want and the Ford guys had,well me or Pastmaster and a couple of others.
One guy who was very vocal about his love for Fords was booted twice!But there is a little more to the story

FORD-TRUCKS.COM is by far the best site on the web!!! Why? Because if you are looking for REAL answers and knowledge about any Ford product this is where to come. PUTC, is basically a BS site. It's nice to bs, especially if you have facts!

don't worry oleblue, I still check out PUTC, but posting there usually is just a waste of time, the chevy boys just shoot you down if you like Fords. Haven't posted here in a while cause I haven't had any problems! I only post here if I can help someone else or if I need help, and only on PUTC when I know I am dead right and feel someone else is misleading others. Good to have you guys there and here!

I know about the "shootin' down".But i don't really go there for much even though i go there alot.I get tired of it and sometimes want to not go back but for some reason i do!
Also,I moderate the body form here now and try to spend more time here.FTE sure feels like home when comin here
I am like you,i don't post in the '61-79 forum unless i need something.Sounds selfish but there is lots of smart people helping each other over there probably better than i could.
I like to read the post over there though.

That's basically my problem, I don't know enough about fixing my own truck yet to try and tell others how to fix theirs. I guess if I did know enough I wouldn't need to visit a site like this! (but I probably would anyways!)

See; that's what it's all about...People helping people, and Ken (Hail Ken, Hail Ken!) just put together the place where we can help each other out from seperate countries! That sure beats asking the neigbor with the moonshine, the bomb shelter, and 'munitions dump in the back yard...:-)

We, in my neighborhood, fixed the munitions dump problem...everyone had one, so we demolished the local crack house and compiled them all into one!
I live in a great neighborhood. Just above ghetto, but we have the drunk, his wife the fat prostitute in overalls and tube-top. We have crack houses, meth labs, and mushrooms springing up everywhere. That's why no-one cares when I drive around the neighborhood without license or registration :-)
