? about ccv mod

i was reading directions for the mod in tech folder it said plug the turbo intake tube with a plug but i want to put a cap over it it seems it would be safer now my question is does anybody know the size of that intake elbow i figure it has to be around 7/8 of an inch that is my guess based upon the fact it says use 1inch inside diameter tubing to reroute to different location

i figured someone on here may know the size of that intake elbow for sure instead of me going out and buying 4 different sizes and wasting a money and time

I used a 3/4" pvc cap and put it up in there as far as it would go and then put a clamp on it and I can still pull it out if I want to.

It keeps the oil vapors from entering your intake and inner cooler. I mainly did it to keep my cac boots from dripping oil.
