evap hose?
Hi everyone. I have a question. Next to the filler tube there is a hose that plugs into the body with a plastic elbow. It attaches to another hose also by a plastic elbow. Does anyone know what this hose is called? It is about 12-14 inches long.Any ideas? Sorry filler tube for the gas tank.

I think your talking about the vent hose. When you put gasoline into the tank, the air inside has to get out. The tank air escapes thru the external small hose. So the fumes dont get into the atmosphere, the hose routes back to the front end to the motor area. If the hose is loose / cracked / missing, you will get a dash light code saying the system can not maintain vacuum.
