Doing some work on my truck and found the plastic CAC tube between the intercooler and intake elbow has a couple of splits/holes on the bottom end. It looks like one of the Hydraboost lines rubbed a hole in it. Anybody know where to get a replacment? I've spent a bunch of $$ on parts lately so price is a factor. I'd like to use a metal one if it will fit without a bunch of mods.
Thanks Piolet,
Are you running one of those? Does it stay in place ok? Price isn't too bad if it works well. I read somthing awhile back about one of the aftermarket companies CAC boots shedding inside, it wasn't these folks was it?
My truck had the metal tube from the factory. I'd like to get those boots, not yet though. I know the riffraff boots were the ones that were NOT having issues. I don't want to guess who was incase I get it wrong.
