so i woke up the other morning to find that my '79 wont start, i had noticed the brain had been leaked a lil more onto the inner fender. its been leaking for a while now....but i put a new battery on and it still wont turn over, do you think its the brain or??...
brain=control module, or whatever you guys wanna call it. ive always heard it called a brain box. anyways, if your lookin under the hood, its on the right fender, closer to the firewall.. and its leaked a sticky substance unto my inner fender..
I'd say replace the ignition module, check the starter selnoid, and check the starter. When was the last time the truck was started, has it been sitting for a while? I've gone through about 3 starter selnoids in the bast 3 years, they just seem to always go on mine.
well it sits fo about a month and i drive it for about a week outa those months when it sits. but it does get a usual staring form time to time, but no real dirving...if the starter were bad, would it click? there is no noise when your turn the key...
