15 months and not one single problem with my 2004 supercab.Motorweek put 28000 miles on their 150 same results. This is my third and so far my best ford 150.
18 mos, 25K no probs. I work mine like a truck and it performs fine. However, I was pulling an enclosed trailer everyday for my construction company and my mileage fell to 8-10mpg and my shifting got a bit sloppy. Sold the trailer and within a week or two everything went back to normal.
I don't have the vibration, steering nibble, tranny clunk, bad AC, leaking third brake light or any of the other common probs that some have. It's not like I ignore small things, I just don't have them. I use synthetic oil and do all my own maintenance on my truck and Harley and haven't had issues with either.
I have some excessive brake dust on the front wheels and some "custom pinstriping" from trees on the trails but I bought it to drive.

BTW, my Dad has an '02 Scab 2WD and the only prob he's had was a leaking rear sliding window. Our dealer fixed it first try and it's been absolutely trouble free since. I don't have a sliding rear, mine's fine.
On another note, some NUT ran me off the road about a week ago into a utility pole. Leaned the pole over pretty good, it later fell all the way over. The ONLY thing it did to my truck was leave a hunk of pole wood on my bumper, it all came off and some minor scratches buffed out. Local dealer couldn't even find anything wrong for an insurance claim. Feel better when my wife and son are in my truck!

Best truck I have ever owned. No problems whatsoever... none. I was really beginning to dislike this forum due to all of the gloom, doom and negativity, glad to see a positive post for a change.
This Website is an excellent venue for venting F-150 problems. I have had no problems with my '04 RCab. I compare the number of F-150's sold to the number of compalints on this Website. I highly suspect the results are waay in the favor of those who have no complaints at all. I cannot recall a make of any vehicle that has not had a post-purchase squawk. That is why the auto makers had to come up with a warranty program that had some teeth.
32+K on a 2004 FX SCAB with only 2 problems that one must expect with a first year model, rear-end whine (new rear end was the fix) and tranny sensor failure. Both problems fixed first time by my dealer. Best ride I've ever had.
