Pully to increase boost

I have a friend that has a blower on his '01 4.0 Ranger. He wants to change the crank pulley to increase his boost, but cannot measure it because of hardware in the way. Does anyone know the pulley diameter for this engine? I posted in the Ranger forum and got zip, will be grateful if anyone can help.

What kind/brand is the system. Many come with a 7" crank. One thing you want to check is if a larger crank pulley will interfere with the water pump pulley.

Most likely will be 7" as stated - it would be easier to get a smaller compresser pulley (assuming you can still get a large enough contact patch of belt on the blower crank)
