I have seen conversion kits to convert the headlights to a housing with separate bulbs. The advantage being that I could buy a bulb with a whiter, more powerful light and the brights would be brighter too. I would also like to "give some business" to the same Audi and BMW drivers who have been blinding me for the last year. Anyone made this conversion? Is it worth it? Any help would be great.

Is the conversion kit you refer to a headlight assembly with the replaceable bulbs?

I put Bosch Lights in mine with 100/80 Bulbs.
I see can see for miles .....and miles....I can see for miles ......
and miles.....etc

Where did you get the Bosch lights and bulbs? How hard was it to change the wiring behind the bulb? Do you just have one bulb that does both the low and high beam? Thank You

Bosch lights are available at most Auto parts places.
They plug right into the harness no modifications are required
There are three choices when it comes to H4 Bulbs
55/65 , 65/80 , 80/100

Maybe try the Bosch website for a dealer near you.

Headlights

These headlights are available at your local autoparts store or through the aftermarket/repop parts suppliers.(LMC, Autokrafters etc). They have an H4 bulb available in different wattages (brightness). I lucked on to a set of flat faced Bosch headlites for my 68 at the wreckers for five bucks apiece. The composite lights in my 94 were a joke compared to these.
