Hello all i just purchased a 02 f250 4x4 FX4 with 117,000 miles on it. I bought it from a friend. This is my first diesel. This morning it skipped a couple of times and the engine light came on. Then it started running good again. I plugged in the superchip programmer to read the codes. It showed PO603 & PO344. What should i be looking for? Thanks for all your help. I have been a memeber of this website for a couple of weeks now. I can see that it has a lot of very knowlable people here.

sounds to me like CPS.
i would change it, but go for a "blue CPS", one from a DT466 international engine. it is supposedly better for the T444E's (powerstroke).
or, you can buy a blue CPS, and trade with me for my stock CPS.
