*New Orleans was the only town that was impacted by Katrina. Beat it to death in the news and it's still going.

mine, I totalled my truck and wrecked another in less than two months.
had my first and prolly last beer (not the same beer, had something to do with the totalled truck)

Nearly froze riding my Softail from Baltimore to Kentucky in mid-30 deg. temps (VERY memorable)
Bought my 03 Anniversary Fatboy & my 97 Mustang Cobra (identical to the Cobra I bought new but sold within months after purchase...long story!)

This was the year for a rather ugly regimen of medical treatments, and tests, and whatever. The "highlight" was being hospitalized for four days in March when one of my cats bit me, and infection raged. I haven't been able to work since October because of headaches and dizziness, probably from the treatment, but they have not figured it out yet.
On a bright note, a friend and I bought and restored our first CHP cruiser for shows and parades...
