hey there,
i am new to the site, and i am looking for some basic info. i just bought a 1968 f-100 ranger, and i need to make sure that my plug wires are in the correct order on the distributor..... i put new plugs and wires on it yesterday, new battery today and fired her up, she ran pretty rough. i know there is is an exhaust manifold leak, it was popping pretty loud. i just want to make sure that the old timer i bought the truck from didn't have any of the wires crossed up. it is going to need to have some carb work done, and it's in need of some new gaskets. i'm not going to drive it until i get some new skins, the old ones are dry rotted really bad. the engine is a 360, if anyone has a good wiring diagram that would be sweet. and one other question.... does anyone make hoods for these trucks? i can't find one in any of my books or online. thanks for your help.

Hello- Welcome to FTE! I have moved your post to the specialized forum we have here for your question. Check out the list of tech forums we have here. There is a wealth of information and expertise here to help you. There are a number of links in my sig below to help you also. Have fun!
Try not to ask multiple questions in the same post or the answers can get quite confusing to everyone.
thanks for the help guys, and sorry for asking too many questions. by the way, i just saw that you moved my question... after i resubmitted it... opps. but thanks for all the info guys! keep on truckin'
Question is are ya running on all 8 now?
Remember now that the "marked #1" on the cap
isn't necessarily going to # one plug as dizzy can be off by many teeth when reinstalled wrong in the past.
