Do yourself a favor and ignore anything these websites tell you about rebates, as they are invariably wrong. I'll bet at least a third of the PM's I get are someting along the line of "FordDirect says the rebate is $1500, but FordVehicles says it's $2500- what gives?"
There's one final word when it comes to Ford rebates, and we dealers know it as SmartVINCENT. It's what we check when we deliver a vehicle for all compatible rebates, and it's the only verification point we have for incentives. As Ernie I'm sure will agree, SmartVINCENT's word is law when it comes to the real numbers.
And to any of the geniuses at Ford's public websites that just might be reading this: we Ford dealers have enough problems nowadays without having to constantly correct your mistakes. If you can't post an ACCURATE rebate, then please don't post one at all. I can't imagine how much money Ford Motor Co. pays you people, but based on your mistake-riddled websites, it's WAAAAAY too much. If I made as many daily mistakes as these geeky morons do, I'd have been out of a job YEARS ago.
