2006 explorer vs freestyle

Just wondering what the ground clearances are of the AWD freestyle and 4X4 explorer. My wife is trying to decide between the two. Living in country(2 1/2 miles off paved road), offroad capabilities are important. I am just worried about the freestyle being to close to the ground. We havent driven either yet. Just trying to do some pre-dealership research. What would you put your wife in??? thanks

the freestlye is very low. the one at the shop looked like 5'' maybe and sure enough when i pulled it around and hit a big speed bump i bottomed out.

Explorer. Get a good one that has been taken care of. The gas mileage of the 4.6 is about the same as the 4.0, but with major benefits.
