Question Quick Front Rotor Question

I have a 2002 XLT 4X4 (5 lug) I'm planning on replacing the front rotors. My question is, do I have to remove the spindle (35mm) nut to get the rotor off?

Thanks

I've not looked at a 4x4, but my '97 2x2 does require removal of the spindle nuts to remove the rotor - if this is the case, repack the bearings and replace the seals.

No, Just take the wheel, caliper and bracket off. Then the rotor is separate from the hub. 4X2's have a hub and rotor assembly 1 piece. If it's froze to the hub, get a bfh and swing it like a baseball bat. Or if you have one big enough, a jaw puller will do it, but I wouldn't draw it against the axle end. Good luck.
