Auto Tranny delete program?

Ken,

Does SCT have a program that can delete the auto only restriction on a 97 Explorer code SLL4? On the 5.0's, the PCM will only accept the auto 4r70w. I'm toying with putting in a 5 speed, but would like to keep the OBDII because of emission controls and laws.

My only other choice is to go to 89-93 Mustang PCM's and wiring, which will make things a little more complicated...

Most codes will allow me to change the switches so the computer knows the transmission is a manual. Its actually quite simple for us to do. Do you have the PCM code handy?

Sounds good. I'll give you or Ken a call pretty soon. I've got to get a tuner in the next month, but am going to be doing the tranny swap sometime in the spring...
